Jane Kim

"Top of the Class" has been featured in "The New York Times," "The Washington Post," "The Boston Globe," "The Newark Star-Ledger," and "The Philadelphia Inquirer"; both authors were interviewed by Diane Sawyer on "Good Morning America." "Top of the Class" was the recipient of the 2005 Family Choice Award and was also a Michael Smerconish Book Club selection in 2006.

Jane Kim-Hall is a lawyer and immigration specialist, currently managing the Office of Immigration and Visa Services at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She received her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law after attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Additionally, she is the Chief Operating Officer of Top of the Class, LLC, a company committed to promoting cultural awareness and understanding between people of different races and ethnicities. She is also a columnist for Parentise.com. She resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
