Janeane Garofalo

Actress/Comedienne/Activist Janeane Garofalo has been actively contributing to film and television since her career began in 1992. Recently, she completed the film "Stay" with Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts, and appeared in "Wonderland" alongside Val Kilmer.

In addition to maintaining a busy schedule in the entertainment industry, Garofalo continues to perform spoken word and stand-up comedy across the country. She is currently working on a book for Simon and Schuster, titled "For Those About to Salute, We Will Rock You," which is a collection of humorous, politically themed essays. Further expanding her platform, she is set to host her own talk show on Radio Free America.

Garofalo is well recognized for her roles in films such as "The Truth About Cats and Dogs," "Steal This Movie," "Copland," and "Reality Bites." Her comedic talent is also evident in her performances in "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion," "Bye Bye Love," "Mystery Men," "Clay Pigeons," "The Minus Man," and "The Cable Guy." She co-authored the bestseller "Feel This Book" with Ben Stiller and was a part of the Emmy Award-winning "Ben Stiller Show." Additionally, Garofalo played Paula on "The Larry Sanders Show," earning an Emmy nomination in 1997 and two Cable Ace nominations. She was a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" in fall 1994 and participated in two specials for HBO and the series finale of "Mad About You." In 2015, she starred in the Netflix original comedy series, "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp."
