Jason George

Mr. Jason George serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Telescope Inc. a subsidiary of Harvest Media Group, Ltd. Mr. George served as the Head of Interactive of Living TV Group Limited. Mr. George was one of the co-founders of pioneering interactive TV and web producer Victoria Real more than 10 years ago. He served as part of the Victoria Real management team that sold the Brighton-based firm to Endemol UK in 2000, and became involved in developing interactive services for Big Brother. He served as the Chairman of Telescope, Inc. He began his career in television with the formation of Victoria Real in 1994, overseeing ground breaking interactive TV programs for UK broadcasters such as the BBC, Channel 4, and ITV as well as interactive TV advertising for clients such as BT and Pepsi. As Chief Executive, he played a key role in Victoria Real's growth to become the foremost digital production company in the UK and its subsequent acquisition by the Endemol Group. He was responsible for award-winning interactive broadcast productions including Big Brother UK, Fame Academy, and I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, as well as the development of Premium Rate Telephony revenues from Play TV shows such as Brainteaser. He served on the Endemol Group Creative Board until he left it December 2004. Since January 2005, he served as Controller of Interactive Programming at UK cable network Flextech Television, working across its portfolio of channels with a remit to explore digital distribution and content creation, and deliver ancillary revenue streams through interactive platforms. During his tenure at Flextech, he commissioned the network's first foray into Participation TV, Quiz Night Live, launched two made-for-mobile TV channels and an online pay-per-view download service, as well as spearheading its push into gaming and user generated content.
