Jay Gambetta is the IBM Fellow and the VP of quantum computing at IBM Quantum, one of the world's foremost researchers in practical quantum computing.
Gambetta became the IBM Fellow, IBM’s highest technical honor in 2018, and has been the VP of quantum computing at IBM Quantum since 2019. He has done vital work on quantum validation techniques, quantum codes, improved gates and coherence, and near-term applications of quantum computing. He was a driving force behind the creation of the "IBM Quantum Experience".
