Jeannie DuBose

Jeannie Cochran DuBose, M.S., is a nationally recognized speaker and an award-winning author and illustrator of two memoirs: "The Mother Daughter Dance" and "Tending The Fire: The Story of a Marriage." Her work focuses on a range of topics relevant to personal growth, psychological health, and aging. Her engaging presentation style, which blends humor, insight, and vulnerable reflections on her own life experiences, resonates with diverse audiences across the country. DuBose's background in counseling psychology and spiritual formation adds substantial depth to her subject matter, offering audiences a refreshing perspective on their personal and relational challenges.

DuBose earned a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University and a certificate in Spiritual Formation from Columbia Theological Seminary. Following her academic pursuits, she practiced as a marriage and family therapist for six years before shifting her focus to broader audiences. She serves as President of the Advisory Board of The Odyssey Family Counseling Center. DuBose has shared her insights with various groups, including schools, faith communities, and women's organizations.

Currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and three children, DuBose offers keynote programs such as "Knowing Your Story," "Exploring the Mother Daughter Relationship," and "The Prime of Our Lives: Does Getting Older Mean Getting Better?"
