Jeannie Mai

Television host Jeannie Mai is best known for her work on various shows including the syndicated talk show "The Real". Mai and her co-hosts, Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, and Tamera Mowry, received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host in 2018. The show, which is now in its seventh season, has received multiple Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Talk Series, and won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Talk Series in 2019. Mai's repertoire also includes hosting roles in the extreme mini-golf competition series "Holey Moley" on ABC from 2019 to 2022, and the reality competition "Steampunk'd" on GSN in 2015. Mai competed on the 29th season of "Dancing with the Stars" in 2020. Additionally, she has been a host for E! and a red carpet host for the American Music Awards. Also, Mai brought her show "How Do I Look?" to Asia's Diva network in 2016 and hosted "America's Test Kitchen: The Next Generation," which premiered on December 9, 2022. Starting from 2022, Mai co-hosted the Miss Universe pageant.

A former professional makeup artist and celebrity stylist, Mai is well-regarded as a style expert and producer. She launched her web series titled "Hello Hunnay," which showcases her journey through fashion, fitness, finances, and relationships. The digital series releases weekly on Kin, Facebook, and YouTube with over 650K subscribers and continues to grow weekly. Mai also hosts the podcast "Listen Hunnay", where she interviews a varied range of professionals from different fields. Moreover, Mai served as Chief Brand Officer of Owl's Brew, an alcoholic tea beverage available in Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Target and more. In late 2021, Mai debuted her own clothing line with a major national retail chain.

Mai is deeply committed to charities that advance women’s interests, serving as a board member for various organizations, including Dress for Success and Same Sky. As a first-generation daughter of immigrant Vietnamese and Chinese parents, Mai strives to give back to her homeland by frequently traveling to Asia to volunteer her time with inspiring organizations dedicated to helping those who are less fortunate. For the last several years, she has served as an advocate to fight human trafficking and has been an ambassador for the Pacific Links Foundation, Step Up, Nightlight International, Not For Sale and Heartbeat Vietnam. In 2017, Mai executive produced "Stopping Traffic: The Movement to End Sex Trafficking," a documentary that investigates the international crisis of human sex trafficking from a deeply personal point of view. The sequel, "Surviving Sex Trafficking" was released in 2023.
