Jeff Gordon

Jeff Gordon was a dominant force in the world of professional stock car racing. With a career spanning over two decades, Gordon has secured his position as a NASCAR legend. Born in Vallejo, California, Gordon began his racing career in the sprint car racing circuit, where he quickly made a name for himself. His success in the minor leagues led to his debut in the NASCAR Cup Series in 1993, where he drove the No. 24 car for Hendrick Motorsports. Over the course of his career, Gordon won the series championship four times, in 1995, 1997, 1998, and 2001. He also won the Daytona 500 three times, in 1997, 1999, and 2005.

Aside from his achievements on the track, Gordon is also known for his involvement in various business ventures. He was a co-owner of the No. 48 Chevrolet previously driven by Jimmie Johnson and had an equity stake in the No. 24 team. Gordon also owned a Busch Series team, Gordon/Evernham Motorsports, which won twice in 1999 and 2000. Notably, he was featured in the video game "Jeff Gordon XS Racing" and appeared in the documentary "Unrivaled: Earnhardt vs. Gordon". He currently serves as an advisor to Axalta Coating Systems and owns JG Motorsports.

After retiring from professional racing in 2015, Gordon transitioned to broadcasting, where he currently serves as a Fox NASCAR analyst. Despite his retirement, his influence on the sport continues. He was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2019, solidifying his legacy as one of the greatest drivers in the history of the sport. As a testament to his enduring popularity, Gordon was named one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers in 2023.
