Jason DeFord, professionally known as Jelly Roll, is a Nashville native who made a name for himself by touring the United States and selling mixtapes by hand. From run-down dive bars to sold-out music halls, his energetic performances are characterized by a blend of southern rock and dirty south rap.
The release of his singles "Need a Favor" and "Son of a Sinner", ascended Jelly Roll's career to mainstream prominence.
