Jen Munson
Jen Munson Biography
Jen Munson is a postdoctoral fellow in learning sciences at Northwestern University, a former classroom teacher, and a professional developer who works with teachers and school leaders across the U.S.. She received her PhD in mathematics education from Stanford University.
Munson is co-author, along with Jo Boaler and Cathy Williams, of the "Mindset Mathematics" curriculum series published by Wiley. Previously, she was an independent consultant to schools across the country providing professional development for teachers and school leaders. As a consultant, her work focused on growing teachers’ and coaches’ vision of and capacity to craft rich, responsive, and equitable mathematics classrooms. Before leaving the classroom to coach, she taught elementary and middle school in Seattle, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.
