Jenneh Rishe

Having been a registered nurse for over a decade, Jenneh Rishe has dedicated her adult life to helping assist in the wellness of her patients, never anticipating her journey to be redirected by her own chronic illnesses. Now she spends her time using her knowledge and experiences to ensure that others have access to accurate information, education, and resources.

Rishe founded The Endometriosis Coalition in 2017, a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission of spreading awareness, promoting reliable education, and increasing research funding for endometriosis. Her advocacy work has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, The New York Times, Good Morning America, The Dr. Phil Show, and The Today Show as part of Maria Shriver’s “Women’s Wellness Health DisruptHERS” segment.

She is also a main subject and narrative voice of the Hillary Clinton/ Rosario Dawson produced documentary, Below The Belt, a film that shows how women are often dismissed, discounted & disbelieved. From societal taboos and gender bias to misinformed doctors and profit-driven healthcare, the film reveals how millions are effectively silenced and how, by fighting back, they can improve healthcare for all women.

Through her debut book, "Part of You, Not All of You," Rishe has used her expertise and experience to put together a resource to bring awareness, acceptance, relief, and hope to anyone dealing with chronic illness.
