Jeremy Balkin

Jeremy Balkin is a founder of Give While You Live, a philanthropic initiative aimed at inspiring the wealthy to embrace giving during their lifetime. He is the founder of the fintech startup TodayPay and a well known innovator in the payments space and banking industry. Regarded as an international expert on values in finance, the Huffington Post described him as "the Anti-Wolf of Wall Street" for his work making the case that banking and finance are forces for good.

Formerly, Balkin was J.P. Morgan's Global Head of Innovation & Corporate Development for the Payments business, Head of Innovation at HSBC, and President of Karma Capital, an independent advisory boutique for high-net-worth investors and family offices, which focused on the Asia-Pacific region.

Balkin is the author of "Millenialization of Everything: How to Win When Millenials Rule the World" and "Investing with Impact: Why Finance is a Force for Good," which won the Axiom Business Book Award in Business Ethics and an International Book Award in General Business. His popular TED talk, “The Noble Cause: Positively Influencing the Allocation of Capital” has been viewed over a quarter million times, and he has been invited to speak at the likes of Davos, the United Nations, Harvard Business School and London School of Economics.

Balkin has received the prestigious UNSW Alumni Award for Achievement, and was designated as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He is also the recipient of Advance Global Australian and PayTech Awards. He studied at the UNSW Business School, Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and Harvard Kennedy School.
