Jill Eikenberry

Jill Eikenberry is a film, stage, and television actress best known for her role as lawyer Ann Kelsey on the NBC drama "L.A. Law." She garnered five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations for this role, winning the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 1989. Eikenberry's early career highlights included her feature film debut in "Between the Lines" and notable roles in "Rich Kids," "Butch and Sundance: The Early Days," and "Arthur."

In addition to her success on screen, Eikenberry has had a prolific stage career with performances in "Beggars Opera," "All Over Town," "Summer Brave," "Uncommon Women," "The Eccentricities of a Nightingale," "Watch on the Rhine," and "Onward Victoria." She received an Obie Award in 1986 for her performances in the Off-Broadway plays "Lemon Sky" and "Life Under Water." Her theater work also includes a role in the Off-Broadway musical "The Kid," for which she was nominated for a 2011 Drama Desk Award.

Eikenberry's television work extends beyond "L.A. Law," with regular appearances on the HBO series "Tracey Takes On..." and hosting duties on "Chicken Soup for the Soul." She has guest-starred in series such as "Strong Medicine," "Judging Amy," and performed in the stage production of "The Vagina Monologues." Her television movies include "Swansong," "Orphan Train," "Kane and Abel," among others. Eikenberry and her husband, Michael Tucker, have also appeared together in "L.A. Law -- The Movie" and on stage in A.R. Gurney's "Love Letters."

Off-screen, Eikenberry is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer, a disease she battled in 1986. She co-produced "Destined to Live," a one-hour NBC documentary focusing on the emotional journey of breast cancer diagnosis and recovery, which won a Humanitas Award. Eikenberry is an advocate for breast cancer education, early detection research, and treatment.

Eikenberry and Tucker currently reside in Mill Valley, California. They often appear together, sharing insights from their extensive careers in entertainment and their personal experiences.
