Jim Donnan is an expert at relating his extensive experience as a former head coach at Marshall University and the University of Georgia, and now as a seasoned college football analyst. Throughout his coaching career, he compiled a record of 104-40-0, showcasing his ability to build successful teams and foster a winning culture. At Marshall, he led the Thundering Herd to the postseason playoffs in five consecutive seasons, achieving three National runner-up finishes and securing the National Championship in 1992. During his tenure at the University of Georgia, he led the Bulldogs to four consecutive bowl victories from 1997 to 2000 and set a school record with four straight eight-win seasons. His leadership earned him the SEC Coach of the Year title in 1997 and a finalist position for the Paul "Bear" Bryant National Coach of the Year Award.

In addition to his coaching accolades, Donnan was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2009 as part of the Divisional Class. His current roles include serving as a college football analyst for television and radio, where he continues to share his insights into the game.
