JoAnn Price

JoAnn Price is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Fairview Capital Partners, one of the world's largest minority-owned venture capital and private equity investment management firms. The firm's mission to connect institutional investors with multicultural and women-led funds has led to more than $10 billion in assets under management since its inception.

Under Price's leadership, Fairview partnered with The Ford Foundation and Visa Foundation in 2022 to expand a financial commitment worth $60 million to underrepresented fund owners. That same year, Fairview also received a portion of a $400 million investment from philanthropists Steve and Connie Ballmer. In 2023, Forbes honored Fairview and recognized Price in the Investment category of their 50 Over 50 list.

Price is a member of Fairview’s investment committee and manager of all Fairview-sponsored funds. Prior to co-founding Fairview, she served as the president of the National Association of Investment Companies.

Price serves on the Howard University School of Business Board of Visitors; on the YMCA of Greater Hartford Board of Trustees; on the Wilson-Gray YMCA Board of Advisors; and on the Amistad Center for Art & Culture Board of Trustees. Additionally, Price sits on several boards of directors, including the Apollo Theater Foundation and Trinity Health of New England. Price is a graduate of Howard University.
