Joe Hyrkin

Joe Hyrkin is the CEO of Issuu, the world's leading omni-channel content tools and publishing platform, that through the Issuu Story Cloud, enables millions of marketers, brands and creators and publishers globally to digitally share and monetize their longer form quality content and create content marketing materials.

Hyrkin has more than 25 years of experience in start up and growth technology leadership globally covering stints in Asia, Europe and the US, from early stage through to IPO. Hyrkin is a frequent thought and industry leadership contributor to the likes of Inc., Entrepreneur Magazine, Recode, Techcrunch, CNBC, FoxBusiness, Bloomberg and has spoken at conferences and events globally including Web Summit, Founders Forum, Horasis Summit, The Wrap's Grill Summit, The Issuu Generator's Summit among others.

Prior to Issuu he served as CEO of Wordnik/Reverb. While at Wordnik, Hyrkin led the creation and execution of a recommendation product plan and strategy and raised over $11.5 million in 2 rounds of funding for from top tier VCs, including MDV, Floodgate, Baseline among others. He also reorganized the company, recruiting top tier back-end, front-end and NLP engineering, product, design/UI, BD, and marketing management from some of the best companies in Silicon Valley.

He has spearheaded business models that have created some of the best brand and consumer engagement on the web. Prior to Wordnik, Hyrkin served as interim CEO of SingleFeed, a profitable leading e-commerce feed optimization service with over 400 paying e-tailers as clients. SingleFeed was funded by True Ventures, and under Hyrkin's direction, was successfully sold to Ali Baba. In 2010, Hyrkin completed a role as EIR with Trinity Ventures. Hyrkin spent six months focused on next generation social commerce, community, crowdsourcing and social media.
