Joe Machi Biography
Joe Machi's diverse career in comedy spans over a decade, beginning with his recognition as the winner of The NY Underground Comedy Festival's Emerging Comics Contest in 2010. This initial success was quickly followed by another victory in The NY Comedy Festival's Funniest Comedian Competition in 2013. Machi continued to garner industry attention and was selected for The Just For Laughs Comedy Festival's New Faces Unrepped Showcase and the Howie Mandel Gala in 2012. His talent and unique comedic style eventually led him to a coveted spot on season 8 of NBC’s "Last Comic Standing," where he finished in fourth place.
Following his success on "Last Comic Standing," Machi's career took off. He performed a half-hour stand-up comedy special on Comedy Central in 2016 and participated in Comedy Central’s "Roast Battle" in 2018. In addition to these performances, Machi has made appearances on high-profile late-night shows such as "Conan O’Brien" in 2018 and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" in 2012. Machi maintained a regular presence on "Gutfeld!" on Fox News from 2021 to 2024. His television appearances also include a cameo on season 2 of HBO’s "Crashing" and a performance on the Netflix series "Bumping Mics."
