John Covey

John M. R. Covey is the Director of the Home and Family Division at FranklinCovey Company, a leading international leadership development firm. He co-founded both the Education Division and the Home and Family Division at FranklinCovey, and has significantly contributed as a Senior Consultant with clients such as Conoco and the U.S. Army Corps.

He collaborated closely with his brother, Stephen R. Covey, in the research, development, and editing of "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families," a New York Times bestselling book. He is globally recognized as a leading authority on family issues. Additionally, John co-authored "The Proactive Family Guide Book" with Stephen R. Covey, further establishing his expertise in family dynamics and education.

John served as an elected member of the Utah State Board of Education, where he played a crucial role in the development of a state-wide mission and strategic plan for public education.
