John John Florence

John John Florence is an iconic professional surfer known for his exceptional talent, innovative style, and remarkable achievements in the world of surfing. As a two-time World Surf League (WSL) Champion and Olympian, Florence has proven his mastery of the waves and his ability to rise above competition. Hailing from a family deeply connected to the ocean, Florence grew up on the North Shore of Oahu, where he was immersed in the rich surfing culture that surrounded the area. His passion for the sport was evident from an early age, and he quickly made a name for himself as a prodigious talent in the surfing community.

Florence's rise to prominence began when he won his first National Scholastic Surfing Association title at the age of 13. This victory set the tone for his extraordinary career, and he continued to excel in the sport at an astonishing pace. In 2016, he claimed his maiden WSL World Title, becoming the first Hawaiian to secure the prestigious honor since 2004. He continued to dominate the surfing world, going on to win the World Title once again in 2017, four Volcom Pipe Pros, five Vans Triple Crowns, and two Pipe Masters.

Outside of his competitive career, Florence has been the subject of several award-winning surf films documenting his remarkable journeys, most notably View From A Blue Moon and Advice To My Younger Self. In 2021, Florence also made his foray into entrepreneurship with the launch of his clothing brand, Florence Marine X.

Florence has officially qualified to represent Team USA at the Paris Olympics in 2024 and remains a favorite to podium on the world's biggest stage.
