John Rich

John Rich, a multifaceted talent in the country music industry, has made significant strides as a singer-songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur. Starting his journey as a member of the country band Lonestar from 1992 to 1998, Rich co-wrote the #1 hit song "Come Cryin' to Me," sharing lead vocal duties with Richie McDonald. This success led him to venture into a solo career under BNA Records in the late 1990s, eventually forming the duo Big & Rich with Big Kenny in 2003. Under Warner Bros. Records, the duo achieved success with three albums and ten singles, including the chart-topper "Lost in This Moment."

Rich's solo ventures also include the 2009 album "Son of a Preacher Man," featuring two chart singles, including the Top Ten hit "Shuttin' Detroit Down." He further extended his prowess with the release of two extended plays, "Rich Rocks" and "For the Kids" in 2011. Rich's impact on the music industry is further exemplified through his work as a songwriter and producer for other artists, including Gretchen Wilson, Keith Anderson, Jewel, and John Anderson. His work yielded multiple #1 hits, earning him the title of ASCAP Songwriter of the year for three years in a row from 2005-2007.

Rich's influence extends beyond music, earning a reputation in the television industry. He hosted the first season of the reality show "Gone Country" on Country Music Television in 2007, followed by two more seasons, making it the highest-rated series in CMT history. He served as a judge on the 2008 version of :Nashville Star" on NBC, and as a candidate in the 2011 season of "The Celebrity Apprentice," which he won, raising $1,266,908 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Rich's independent label, Rich Records, has released several songs, five of which reached #1 on the iTunes all-genre download chart.
