John Somorjai Biography
John Somorjai is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy of salesforce.com. He joined salesforce.com in 2005 having previously worked for Ingenio, as Vice President of Business Development, responsible for partnership, sales and strategic corporate activities; and for Oracle, as Senior Director of Corporate Development, responsible for strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, technology licensing, carve-outs and divestitures.
Somorjai was previously Oracle's Corporate Counsel in the Corporate Legal Department. Prior to Oracle, John worked with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and Dewey Ballantine as an Associate Attorney.
He holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.
