Jorja Smith Biography
Jorja Smith is an English singer-songwriter from Walsall, West Midlands. She has released several singles since her career kicked off in January 2016. She has also collaborated with other popular artists, including Drake, Kali Uchis, Stormzy, and producer Preditah.
Smith released her debut extended play, Project 11, in November 2016. In 2018, she won the Brit Critics' Choice Award. Her debut studio album, Lost & Found, was released in June 2018 and peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart. She also co-wrote and performed the song "I Am" on Kendrick Lamar's soundtrack album for Black Panther.
Smith was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2019 Grammy Awards and won the British Female Solo Artist Award at the 2019 Brit Awards.
