Josh Radnor

Josh Radnor is an American actor, filmmaker, author, and musician. He is best known for portraying 'Ted Mosby' on the Emmy Award–winning CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother". He made his writing and directorial debut with the 2010 comedy drama film "Happythankyoumoreplease", for which he won the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for Favorite U.S. Drama and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize.

In 2012, he wrote, directed, and starred in his second film, "Liberal Arts", which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Radnor continued his work in theater, starring in Richard Greenberg's "The Babylon Line" and Ayad Akhtar’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Disgraced", the latter of which was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play. He portrayed 'Dr. Jedediah Foster' in the PBS American Civil War drama series "Mercy Street" and 'Lou Mazzuchelli' in the NBC musical series "Rise", which is inspired by Michael Sokolove’s novel "Drama High". Additionally, he played 'Lonny Flash' in the series "Hunters".

Beyond acting and directing, Radnor has also ventured into music, forming the indie-folk duo Radnor & Lee with musician Ben Lee. The duo released their debut self-titled album, showcasing another facet of his artistic talents. He will appear in the upcoming dark romantic comedy "Social Animals", further expanding his diverse career in the entertainment industry.
