Josh Woodward Biography
Josh Woodward is the Vice President of Google Labs. Prior to this role, he served as a Senior Director of Product Management within the same group. A longtime Google product leader, he began his career at Google in 2009 as an intern.
Over the years, Woodward has helped ship the first several generations of Chromebooks, co-founded Google's Next Billion Users efforts for first-time internet users around the world, and worked on Google Pay, Google Wallet, and other Fintech initiatives. He was the first Product Manager behind the AI Test Kitchen initiative, striving to provide a new way for people to learn about, experience, and give feedback on emerging AI technologies at Google. Woodward presented the first AI Test Kitchen demo at Google I/O 2022. Since then he has hosted roundtables on this subject to a wide range of audience, including global policy makers and the Computer Science Teachers Association.
