Juan F. Barbieri

Juan is the owner of The Heritage Group, Inc., a family owned architectural and construction company located in Los Angeles, California. As the owner of the firm, his duties include every aspect of construction: contracts, estimating, scheduling, job site walk-throughs and client relations. Juan manages multiple crews on many projects, both residential and commercial, simultaneously. He has found being bi-lingual in Spanish to be a major asset when instructing, negotiating and motivating. In today’s economy, the term “value engineering” or stretching the budget has become his mantra. Juan embraced his passion for design and construction and obtained his State Contractors license and learned the business from the ground up. Never shy to get his hands dirty, Juan has worked as an apprentice for several trades during the early years. From demo to woodwork to finish work, he has done it. Realizing that it’s never too late to advance ones education, Juan also received a degree from UCLA Extension for Construction Management and Technologies. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Juan moved with his family to Los Angeles at the age of two. A film school graduate from the University of California at Santa Cruz, he worked for several tech firms in Silicon Valley before returned to Los Angeles to head the family architectural and construction company. His mother, Vicky, holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and founded the business nearly 35 years ago and has been his mentor from the beginning.
