Julia Willoughby Nason Biography
As a Native New Yorker and Artist, Nason formed The Cinemart with filmmaker Jenner Furst. Under the company banner, Nason Executive Produced the Award-Winning Documentary "Welcome to Leith" an unflinching look at Racial Extremism in America's Heartland. Nason received an Emmy Nomination for her work on the film and went on to Co-Create and Executive Produce "Time: The Kalief Browder Story" with Jay Z. The Series drew in over 40 Million viewers during it's broadcast on Spike TV and was nominated for an IDA Award. Nason is currently Co-Directing "REST IN POWER: The Trayvon Martin Story" with Jenner Furst for Jay Z and The Paramount Network. Nason and her team continue to develop signature unscripted and scripted projects from their Brooklyn-based studio.
