Julie Morgenstern is an internationally renowned organizing and time management expert, New York Times best-selling author, consultant, and speaker. Her work spans the distance between individuals and workforces, homes and corporations. The "Inside Out" philosophy that is now synonymous with her name results in customized solutions that are innovative, practical, and ensure long-term success. Since 1989, Morgenstern and her team have transformed the way individuals and companies function around the globe, including high-profile clients such as American Express, Hearst, Deloitte, Microsoft, FedEx, GlaxoSmithKline, the NBC-Newsroom, the NYC Mayor’s Office, Sony Music, State Farm Insurance, and Viacom/MTV.

She and her daughter, Jessi Morgenstern-Colon, co-authored "Organizing from the Inside Out for Teens." Her book "Never Check Email in the Morning" is utilized in training programs for Fortune 500 companies. Her latest publication, "SHED Your Stuff, Change Your Life," explores the transformative process of decluttering to help individuals get unstuck in their lives. Morgenstern has also created a product line that includes the Circa Balanced Life Planner and Notebook series through Levenger, providing practical organizing tools designed for effective living.

The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) honored Morgenstern with its prestigious Founder's Award in 2002. She has been an active member of the Board of Directors for NAPO and is also a member of The National Speakers Association (NSA). Her background in theatre as a director, producer, and performer influences her organizing work, viewing it as requiring similar skills to directing and producing—a blend of spatial design, big picture vision, and the practical skills needed to guide individuals and groups to their goals. Morgenstern holds a BA in Theatre from Temple University and has pursued graduate studies in Directing at the Goodman School of Drama.
