Juliet K. Choi

Juliet K. Choi currently holds the position of President and CEO of the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), a role that requires a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of diverse communities. Prior to this role, Choi made significant contributions to the Obama administration as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor for two federal agencies: the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services at the Department of Homeland Security, and the Office for Civil Rights at the Department of Health and Human Services. These roles allowed her to cultivate an extensive knowledge base and experience in immigration, civil rights, healthcare, and disaster relief.

Recognized for her expertise in change management, system reform, and stakeholder relations, Choi's work has primarily focused on addressing and improving issues within immigration, civil rights, healthcare, and disaster relief. Her skills as an accomplished cross-sector leader and coalition builder have been instrumental to her success. Armed with a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, she honed her legal acumen while clerking for the Hon. Dennis M. Sweeney (ret.).
