Justin J. Grooms

Justin J. Grooms is a highly accomplished and sought after Business Consultant, Executive Coach, Corporate Trainer, Author, and Public Speaker based out of Los Angeles CA. He is the founder and CEO of Chariot Consulting, where he and his team work diligently to help organizations achieve their goals as it pertains to managing Human Capital. He specializes in Organizational Development and Risk Management. He and his team provide quality training and consultative services to both growing and established organizations by leading with experience, direction, encouragement, and vision.

Grooms' training focuses on the areas of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Harassment & Discrimination Prevention, Generational Awareness, Conflict Resolution, and Leadership Development. He is also an experienced executive coach, helping executives and business owners further develop their leadership and communication skills.

One of the many things that makes Grooms unique is his background working in and with the entertainment industry. Having been on and around production sets since 2006, he has a deep understanding of how productions run and the many unique challenges that come with creating and fostering a healthy, productive work environment for both the cast and crew. Grooms and his team understand that the entertainment industry has its own set of challenges and requirements, so it is important to tailor the training to meet those specific needs. The entertainment industry relies on teams of people working together to create a successful product, much like many manufacturing and industrial settings. Grooms' style of training encourages collaboration and teamwork to help employees develop the skills they need to work effectively with others.

In his free time, he is a highly active participant in the non-profit space. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the West Valley where he implemented a program called “Passionate Work”. The program helps students find their passions early in life and connect them to viable career options. He also serves on the Board of Directors for El Centro de Amistad, an organization that provides mental health services to underserved communities in the San Fernando Valley and throughout greater Los Angeles. He is a life-long member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, an organization that has been serving local communities since 1911. When he is not serving, he can be found exploring the world, taking a hot yoga class, writing, creating course content, & publishing inspirational children’s books.

He is a graduate of Murray State University, where he earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree. He earned a PHR certification in Human Resources and has almost two decades of experience in consulting. He has worked with a variety of organizations, from some of the top performing companies in the United States to small local businesses. He is an expert problem solver and has a knack for finding creative solutions to complex problems.
