K. Michelle

K Michelle, a singer and television personality, began her career as a regular cast member on the VH1 reality television series "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta." Her exposure on this series led to her signing with Atlantic Records, providing a launchpad for a successful music career. Her debut studio album, "Rebellious Soul," made a significant impact, debuting at number two on the US Billboard 200. This success continued with her subsequent albums, such as "Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?," "More Issues Than Vogue," "Kimberly: The People I Used to Know," and "All Monsters Are Human." Moving forward with her music career, Michelle released her sixth studio album, "I'm the Problem," in 2022 and is set to release her debut country album in 2024.

In addition to her music career, Michelle has made numerous appearances on various television shows, including "Love & Hip Hop: New York," "K. Michelle: My Life," and "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood." Her own special, "The Rebellious Soul Musical," was directed by renowned actor Idris Elba. Michelle's other films include "Single Black Female" and "Single Black Female 2: Simone's Revenge." Michelle's contributions to music have been recognized with four BET Awards nominations; she also received a Soul Train Music Award and a NAACP Image Award in 2013 and 2014, respectively. In 2015, she was honored with an ASCAP Women Behind the Music award.
