Kaitlyn Bristowe is a Canadian television personality, best known for her roles on ABC's "The Bachelor" and as the lead on "The Bachelorette."

Bristowe first appeared as a contestant on Chris Soules's season of "The Bachelor," where she immediately stood out with her candor and humor. She finished third, behind Becca Tilley and Whitney Bischoff. The announcement that the eleventh season of "The Bachelorette" would start with two Bachelorettes, Bristowe and Britt Nilsson, was made during "The Bachelor After the Final Rose" segment. The male contestants chose Bristowe over Nilsson on the first night, making her the season's official bachelorette. In a notable moment from the season, she allowed Nick Viall, a contestant from the previous season, to join the show, which stirred considerable attention. Viall ended as the runner-up when Bristowe chose Shawn Booth, who proposed in the finale. Their engagement lasted three years.
