Kanene Holder

Kanene Ayo Holder is an AI ethics, future of work, and inclusive marketing consultant and keynote speaker. Her dynamic presentations feature inclusive innovation tools, including the AI human C.L.A.i.R.A. and the AI chatbot DEIGPT, both of which she helps program to showcase ethical and inclusive AI best practices. With a Massachusetts Institute of Technology certificate in Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation, three National Endowment for the Humanities awards, and an extensive background in education and interactive theater, she leads transformational learning experiences for corporations, schools, and nonprofits.

Holder has advised companies such as Shutterstock, The American Red Cross, and MAGNA Global on equity, empathy, and effective inclusive technology innovation. Her research has earned her awards from the Colin Powell Fellowship, Coro Educational Leadership Collaborative, Yale’s THREAD Fellowship for New Media and Nonfiction Storytelling, and Columbia University’s Community Scholars, among others. She has presented at Columbia University, New York University, SXSW EDU, and Essence Festival.

As Create Labs Ventures’ AI Integrations Manager for DEIGPT, an ethical and inclusive AI model, Holder delivers keynotes and trainings that empower individuals and companies to develop effective, responsible AI strategies. She has spoken at industry-leading events, including Carat's Innovation Summit: The Future With AI, Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza for MIPAD, and ADWEEK for The Female Quotient. She is also the Brand Evangelist for the Brand Safety Summit, the premier conference for sharing best practices on digital and brand safety for the advertising, tech, and social media industries.

Holder is passionate about leveraging her expertise to bridge the worlds of marketing, AI, and diversity to shape the future of inclusion. Her company, FutureFixer.AI, helps companies drive innovation by leveraging insights to inspire their innovation strategy. As the FutureFixer, she curates conversations with industry leaders in a series called “Data is DNA,” discussing the future of humanity and our data across social media, AI, and advertising. This series, featuring leaders from Meta, Google, the New York Times, and the University of Pennsylvania, launched at Columbia University. She also presented at Fast Company’s Innovation Summit in 2024, focusing on maximizing AI tools and soft skills.

Holder is a board member of the Alliance for Women in Media, supporting the future of journalism and storytelling, and a member of NationSwell’s Council, a nomination-based membership for leading senior thought leaders, change-makers, and social impact amplifiers.

In addition, Holder is an award-winning comedian. She has produced Off-Broadway satires at venues including The Public Theater’s Joe’s Pub, Brooklyn Museum, Columbia University, and Bard College. She has received awards from the Puffin Foundation, Awesome Foundation, Franklin Furnace, and others. She shares her insights and interviews with AI experts on a new micro-podcasting app called SWELL.
