Kathleen Sebelius Biography
Kathleen Sebelius is one of America’s foremost experts on national and global health issues, human services, and executive leadership. As CEO of Sebelius Resources LLC, she provides strategic advice to companies, investors, and non-profit organizations.
A former governor of Kansas, Sebelius served in President Obama’s cabinet as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). At HHS, she worked to pass and implement the Affordable Care Act, leading Forbes magazine to name Sebelius one of "The World's 100 most Powerful Women."
Sebelius chairs the board of Humacyte and serves on the boards of directors of Devoted Health, Exact Sciences, and Included Health. She continues policy work with the Kaiser Family Foundation and co-leads the Health Strategy Group for the Aspen Institute.
A graduate of Trinity Washington University, she earned a master's degree in public administration from the University of Kansas.
