Dealing with eating disorders and a poor relationship with food starting at age 14, Katie Farrell went from one extreme to another, and as she did, her weight fluctuated from extremely low, to high, and everything in between.
After many ups and downs, ‘BALANCED’ healthy living began for Farrell when she finally got off the ‘control’ wagon. She realized that everything in life comes down to a balance between the spiritual and physical. For her, this meant not only having faith that God was leading her, but also getting proactive with her health. She began trying out different workouts and finding ones that worked for her. She also got in the kitchen and started creating healthy and tasty meals that were quick and easy to make, which is essentially how Dashing Dish got started.
Dashing Dish is a place where Farrell hopes to share what God taught her both spiritually and physically over the years to reach a healthy balance.
