Keith Schacht

Keith Schacht is an entrepreneur, innovator and angel investor. He co-founded Mystery Science, an educational platform aimed at making science lessons engaging and accessible for elementary school students. Mystery Science quickly gained traction and became a widely adopted tool in classrooms across the United States, emphasizing hands-on experiments and interactive learning to spark students' curiosity. It was acquired by Discovery Education.

Before his venture into educational technology, Schacht made a mark in the realm of social media and digital marketing. He was a product manager at Facebook, where he was a co-inventor on six patents. Prior to that, Schacht was the founder of Crafted Fun, a social gaming company that created engaging experiences for users on platforms like Facebook, which was acquired by Vying Games. Earlier, he co-founded Inventables, a subscription service that introduced Fortune 500 companies to new materials and technologies to help formulate new product ideas. Inventables was featured in numerous publications, including Forbes and Wired, and led to Schacht and his partner presenting a TED talk on "Toys from the Future."

Schacht's entrepreneurial journey began early, when he started Lever Works, a custom software development company, out of his dorm room his freshman year. There, he created a suite of pre-built products for web design firms before the company was acquired by Leo Media.

In addition to his startup endeavors, Schacht has been actively involved in the investment community, both as an angel investor and as part of various venture capital initiatives. He is a former board member of Higher Ground Education and eSpark Learning.
