Kelley O'Hara is one of the most versatile and dynamic players in soccer. During her 14-year tenure with the U.S. Women’s National Team, O'Hara inked her name in the history books, becoming one of 37 women to earn 100 caps and one of 10 women to be named to four World Cup rosters.
A feared defender on the pitch known for her unwavering intensity of play and vocal leadership, O'Hara was instrumental in both the 2019 and 2015 World Cup wins. In 2019, she started and played in all but one match and was named to the FIFA FIFPro Women’s World 11, which recognizes the best 11 players in the world. In 2015 O'Hara scored the game-clinching goal against Germany, advancing the U.S. to the finals. And in the 2012 London Olympics, O'Hara was one of three players on the field every minute of their journey to the gold medal.
O'Hara’s NWSL accolades include two NWSL Championships. One in 2021 with the Washington Spirit, where she scored the game-winning goal in stoppage time. The other with Gotham FC in 2023 where she was an instrumental part of their rebuilding, taking the team from last place in 2022 to champions the following year.
O'Hara hung up her boots in 2024 and has transitioned to life after soccer. She is now a media personality for Just Women’s Sports, hosting the weekly vodcast, Sports Are Fun!, and the award-winning O'Hara on the Street digital series. O'Hara is also a regular soccer commentator for CBS broadcasts and the co-founder of O’House Productions.
