Kerry Magro Biography
Kerry Magro is an award-winning national speaker and best-selling author who has become a role model in the disabled community. Nonverbal at 2.5 and diagnosed with autism at 4, Magro has overcome countless obstacles to get to where he is today. In May 2019, Magro received his doctorate in Educational Technology Leadership from New Jersey City University to become Dr. Kerry Magro. He is currently the CEO and founder of KFM Making a Difference, a non-profit corporation focused on disability advocacy and housing.
Today, Magro travels the country sharing his story and telling our society to define their lives and dreams in the best way possible. In 2011, Magro started consulting for the Motion Picture “Joyful Noise,” which opened up several opportunities for him to consult on autism-related films, including the 2016 hit “Jane Wants a Boyfriend.” His highlights include publishing two best-selling books, "Defining Autism From The Heart" and "Autism and Falling in Love," and working on the 2012 Motion Picture Joyful Noise. Magro currently resides in Hoboken, New Jersey.
