Kevin Cronin

Kevin Cronin is widely recognized for his role as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the rock band REO Speedwagon. His songwriting prowess played a significant role in the band's success, having penned hit songs such as "Keep On Loving You" and "Can't Fight This Feeling," both of which climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100. The album "Hi Infidelity" was another milestone in Cronin's career, selling over 10 million copies and featuring numerous chart-topping singles.

Expanding his reach beyond music, Cronin made an appearance on the Netflix original series "Ozark," where he performed "Time for Me to Fly" in the third episode of season three. This appearance catalyzed a resurgence in popularity for REO Speedwagon, with their music making a strong return to the Billboard and digital charts in April 2020. Further demonstrating his versatility, Cronin has also been featured in live performance videos such as "Live Aid (1985)" and "XM Artists Confidential."

In January 2024, REO Speedwagon embarked on a tour with Train called the Summer Road Trip tour, demonstrating their enduring appeal by covering 44 cities. However, in December 2024, Cronin announced that REO Speedwagon would be disbanding, with him and the current touring band, including guitarist Dave Amato, drummer Bryan Hitt, keyboardist Derek Hilland, and bassist Matt Bissonette, continuing under the name Kevin Cronin.
