Kevin Ryan

Kevin Ryan, known as the “Godfather of NYC tech,” is a prominent internet entrepreneur and investor. He is a co-founder of MongoDB, Business Insider, Gilt Groupe, Zola, Nomad Health, Pearl Health, and Transcend Therapeutics. As CEO of AlleyCorp, he actively launches new ventures and invests in early stage companies. Ryan's entrepreneurial journey began with DoubleClick, where he ascended to CEO, leading its transformation into a global leader before its acquisition by Google.

Beyond entrepreneurship, Ryan has been a civic leader in New York, serving on various state commissions and boards, including advising on wage policies and transportation initiatives. He holds leadership roles in organizations like Tech:NYC and The Partnership for New York City, while also contributing to philanthropic endeavors supporting education, healthcare, and social impact initiatives.

Recognized for his influence and achievements, Ryan has received accolades such as Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, been featured as one of The 100 Most Influential New Yorkers of the Past 25 Years by The Observer, and named one of the 50 Most Influential Business People by Crain’s New York Business, where he was later inducted into the Hall of Fame.
