Kimberly Seelbrede

Kimberly Seelbrede is a New York State licensed psychotherapist, relationship expert, consultant, mind-body practitioner and an accidental beauty queen — Miss USA (a long time ago).

Kimberly has a deep respect for the connection between mind, body and spirit.

Kimberly Seelbrede has a special interest in helping clients manage chronic health and pain conditions as a result of her own struggles following a diagnosis of the autoimmune disorder Hashimoto's Thyroiditis nearly a decade ago. She is delighted to assist clients as a health consultant and coach, empowering those managing thyroid, endocrine and hormonal conditions, autoimmune disorders and other chronic health problems. Subsequently, because of her own research and practices, she is able to support and teach clients self-care and holistic practices for mind and body that support optimal wellbeing. She is a registered yoga therapist specializing in yoga therapy, breathing techniques, essential oils, Reiki, contemplative care and nutrition.

As an emotional health expert, she works with women and issues unique to them including life balance, hormone issues and care-taking concerns. Clinically she seeks to reinforce adaptive behaviors, improve interpersonal and relationship issues, identify, understand, and enhance character strengths, resolve trauma, support clients in developing goals and values and help clients who feel “stuck” uncover blocks and obstacles. Overall the goal of these interventions is to reduce clinical symptoms, improve life satisfaction and help clients work to their potential and lead meaningful lives.
