Kory Puderbaugh Biography
Kory Puderbaugh was born in Poland in 1996. His parents abandoned him to an orphanage at birth, and he was adopted to the United States in 2001. Puderbaugh is a natural-born quad-amputee, affecting his lower legs, lower left arm, and a portion of his right hand. With the help of Shriners Hospital for Children in Salt Lake City, he received medical care and prosthetic limbs, including a pair of parabolic running legs.
Puderbaugh is an avid athlete who has participated in various sports, such as wrestling, track, and wheelchair rugby. As a student, he participated in wrestling and track with the support of his coaches at Lowell Scott Middle School and Centennial High School in Boise. His sports heroes include chess grandmaster Gary Kasparov and amputee wrestlers Kyle Maynard, Dustin Carter, and Anthony Robles.
Puderbaugh's dedication to his pursuits also extends to his involvement in international sports. He was a part of the U.S.A. Wheelchair Rugby Team that won a silver medal at the Rio Paralympic Games in 2016 and the Tokyo Games in 2020.
