Kristian Nairn

Kristian Nairn is a Northern Irish actor and musician. He gained widespread recognition for his role as ‘Hodor’ in HBO’s critically acclaimed series "Game of Thrones," which earned two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Drama Series and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Series – Drama. Having begun his career in entertainment as a DJ, Nairn has performed alongside prominent figures such as Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Fatboy Slim, and Danny Howard. His extensive DJ career includes being one of Ireland’s most prominent resident house DJs for 20 years.

Nairn stands at 210 cm (6'11") tall. In March 2014, he publicly came out as gay during an interview with a "Game of Thrones" fan site, expressing pride in his identity and emphasizing the importance of representation. He continues to be an influential figure within the LGBTQ+ community.

As a musician, Nairn has made notable contributions to the music industry, including remixes for artists such as the Freemasons, Madison Avenue, and Duke. He currently plays DJ sets globally, focusing on big room vocal house and progressive EDM. Nairn also headlines his own "Rave of Thrones" club show, a "Game of Thrones"-themed immersive clubbing experience that has successfully toured in the UK, the USA, and Australia. This unique event combines his passions for music and acting, providing a dynamic experience for attendees.
