Kristin Sharp Biography
Kristin Sharp has made a career out of innovating the way we work. She is currently CEO of Flex. Flex purports to be the voice of the app-based economy, representing America’s rideshare and delivery platforms and the people who count on them.
Sharp is an experienced civic sector executive and entrepreneur. She calls attention to the impact of automation and other advanced technologies on work, and works creatively with businesses and educational organizations to increase economic opportunity for workers.
Prior to joining Flex, Kristin was CEO of the Education Quality Outcomes Standards (EQOS) board, a non-profit focused on certifying short-term tech and workforce programs. She also co-founded Shift: The Commission on Work, Workers, and Technology, a joint project of New America and Bloomberg Beta examining the impact of AI on work. Before that, she worked on technology, innovation, and national security policy in the U.S. Senate for committees and senators on both sides of the political aisle.
