Kristy Drutman, also known as “Brown Girl Green,” is a media producer, environmental educator, and speaker. She is the founder of "Brown Girl Green," which emphasizes environmental media and activism, and she is committed to addressing the intersection of media, diversity, and environmentalism.

As an entrepreneur and climate communications expert, Drutman has reached hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, educating them about contemporary environmental issues through her speeches and extensive media content. She also conducts workshops across the United States focusing on environmental media and storytelling. Drutman's expertise has led her to serve multiple times as an on-ground reporter at the White House, and her work has been featured in notable publications such as Teen Vogue, NY Times, and Refinery 29.
