LJ Rich

LJ Rich is a freelance presenter, TV producer, technology keynote speaker, writer, and musician. She scripts, films, edits, and presents on-camera and on stage, often incorporating her musical talents directly into her presentations by performing from the piano.

Rich has compered events internationally and has broadcast over 1500 hours of live television. Currently working as a TV producer at the BBC, she regularly appears on the "Click" program, covering developments in music and audio technology, internet memes, and social media phenomena.

After reading music at Oxford, Rich has monitored emerging concepts in consumer electronics for over a decade, with particular interest in audio innovations and quirky gadgets. Her extensive background also includes interviewing high-profile figures such as Google’s Eric Schmidt, Eben Upton of Raspberry Pi, and Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter. She has also been one of the top sellers on the QVC shopping channel, focusing on gadgets and consumer electronics.

Rich is a regular contributor on BBC TV including BBC News and "Click," the BBC's flagship technology program. She has played a key role in growing @BBCClick's Twitter account, which boasts just under 2 million followers. Additionally, Rich is a member of NASA's Datanauts, working with experts to leverage NASA's data in solving complex problems.
