Larry Gatlin

Larry Gatlin, an American country and Southern gospel singer-songwriter, began his music career in 1973. With a portfolio that includes a number of hits like "Broken Lady," "All the Gold in California," and "Night Time Magic," Gatlin has made a significant impact in the music industry. His talent extended beyond solo performances, as he formed a trio with his younger brothers Steve and Rudy, known as the Gatlin Brothers. The group has had several notable performances, such as at the second inauguration gala for Ronald Reagan in 1985 and at Game 3 of the 1989 World Series.

Aside from his singing career, Gatlin has exhibited entrepreneurial traits, having purchased shares in the Nashville Sounds, a Minor League Baseball team, in 1985. His love for music also led him to Broadway, where he starred in "The Will Rogers Follies." In 1994, Gatlin and his brothers expanded their influence by opening a 2,000-seat theater in Myrtle Beach. He even ventured into acting, playing himself in the television movie "Big Dreams & Broken Hearts: The Dottie West Story" in 1995.

His memoir, "All the Gold in California" was published in 1998. He has appeared on the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network as a political and social commentator. Other affiliations include "The Imperials," a gospel music group with whom he released several albums. Gatlin's contributions to the music industry have earned him several Grammy Awards and led to his membership in the Grand Ole Opry.
