Leah Cohen-Shohet is the Vice President of Symphony, a platform that provides enterprise-wide collaboration to some of the world's largest firms. The startup was founded in 2014 and has grown to have 300 employees. In her role, Cohen-Shohet is responsible for growth and adoption at the company. In 2019, she was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in finance.
In addition to her corporate role, Cohen-Shohet is also the chef and owner of acclaimed New York City restaurants, "Pig & Khao" and "Piggyback NYC". "Pig & Khao," which opened its doors in 2012, serves Southeast Asian street food-inspired cuisine. "Piggyback NYC" was launched in January 2020, offering a menu inspired by various Asian cuisines based on her extensive travels across Asia. Her cooking philosophy skillfully combines authentic Southeast Asian flavors with classical Western techniques.
Cohen-Shohet's culinary prowess was recognized when she received the 2013 StarChefs Rising Stars Award. Moreover, she showcased her skills on a national platform as a competitor on the fifth season of Bravo's "Top Chef". Early in her career, she honed her skills working in Michelin-starred restaurants, setting a strong foundation for her successful ventures in the gastronomic world.
