Lee Haney

Lee Haney is a former IFBB professional bodybuilder who has made a significant impact in the world of fitness. Not only has he captured the Mr. Olympia title eight consecutive times, a record in the sport, but he also achieved this feat at the young age of 24. Haney's triumphs have earned him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records, and he earned two perfect scores in 1986, which earned him first in the sport.

Aside from his remarkable bodybuilding career, Haney is also an author, having written three books: "TotaLee Awesome," "Ultimate Bodybuilding," and "Fit at Any Age." Haney shares his extensive knowledge and passion for fitness through these publications, contributing significantly to the sports and fitness arena with his comprehensive personal training techniques and his commitment to exercising integrity.

He now resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and runs his own program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network called "TotaLee Fit with Lee Haney," where he shares his fitness expertise with audiences worldwide. His off-season weight ranges from 275-285 pounds (125-129 kg), and his competition weight varies between 230-260 pounds (104-118 kg), maintaining his physique even in retirement.

Additionally, Haney's contributions extend beyond the world of fitness. In 1992, along with his wife, Irish model Shirley Draper Haney, he founded Haney's Harvest House. This nonprofit organization is a year-round mentoring program for young men, aiming to foster character development, societal respect, and self-love. Haney, a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College with a degree in youth counseling, uses his educational background to guide his work at the Harvest House.
