Lei overcame unimaginable odds and became the first Asian woman and Asian American to complete the Explorer’s Grand Slam, an incredible feat that included climbing the world’s tallest mountains on each of the seven continents and skiing to the North and South Poles.

Lei’s journey to achieving the Explorer’s Grand Slam was not a solo endeavor. She was surrounded by a team of coaches, mentors, and fellow mountaineers who provided the critical support needed to make the seemingly impossible possible.
