Leigh & Leslie Keno (The Keno Brothers)

Having been deeply engaged in the world of beautiful and rare Americana for over three decades, twin brothers Leigh and Leslie Keno are renowned experts in antiques and art. As appraisers on the Emmy-nominated PBS series "Antiques Roadshow," they have become well-known figures beyond the refined sphere of art and Americana, attracting around 12 million weekly viewers.

Leigh Keno is the President of Keno Auctions in New York City, a company he founded after operating Leigh Keno American Antiques. Leslie Keno, after spending over 34 years at Sotheby’s, where he set numerous auction records for Americana, left his role as Senior Vice President and Senior Specialist of American Furniture and Decorative Arts. They continue to contribute substantially to the field through television and publications. Leigh and Leslie also starred in the FOX reality show "Buried Treasure" in fall 2011, where they traveled around the country helping people uncover hidden gems in their homes. Using cutting-edge technology, they assessed items for authenticity, condition, and value, distinguishing between mere clutter and significant finds.

Both brothers lecture extensively, captivating audiences nationwide with their infectious enthusiasm and deep knowledge of antiques. Their presentations are rich with amusing anecdotes and practical tips on discovering valuable antiques. The Kenos are also prolific writers, having authored "Hidden Treasures: Searching for Masterpieces of American Furniture." In addition, they have held positions as Editors at Large for Traditional Home magazine, contributing monthly columns. In recognition of their contributions to the field, they were awarded the National Humanities Medal by President George W. Bush in 2005.

Apart from their professional achievements, Leigh and Leslie are active in the classic car community, participating in races and serving as judges at prestigious events like the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. They enjoy spending their free time with family, fly-fishing, and engaging in vintage car racing.
