Liev Schreiber

Liev Schreiber is an acclaimed actor, director, screenwriter, and producer, known for his versatility and compelling performances across film, television, and stage. He has received numerous accolades including a Tony Award for his role in "Glengarry Glen Ross" as well as nominations for nine Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards.

Schreiber's breakout role came in the late 1990s with his portrayal of Cotton Weary in the "Scream" film franchise. His diverse filmography includes roles in the movies "The Sum of All Fears," "Defiance," "A Walk on the Moon," "Ransom," "Spotlight," "Walking and Talking," "The Daytrippers" and the remake of "The Manchurian Candidate," among many others. He is also known for his role as Sabretooth in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." On the small screen, Schreiber portrayed the titular character in the Showtime series "Ray Donovan" for seven years.

In addition to his onscreen work, Schreiber is a well-respected classical actor, having performed in numerous Shakespearean productions and other stage plays. He has also lent his distinctive voice to narrate several acclaimed documentaries. Schreiber expanded his creative repertoire by producing multiple projects and made his directorial debut with the film "Everything Is Illuminated," an adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer's novel.

Schreiber is deeply involved in humanitarian efforts, particularly with regard to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. In 2022, he co-founded BlueCheck Ukraine, an initiative aimed at providing support and resources to the Ukrainian people amid the Russian invasion. BlueCheck Ukraine focuses on identifying and funding grassroots organizations that offer critical assistance, including medical supplies, food, and shelter to those affected by the war.
